The Annual OHC BBQ is a great opportunity for OHC members to visit, discuss the hawks they will be hunting this year and plan the fall season. It is a members-only event but friends and family of members are welcome to come accompany the OHC members who attend.
Burgers, hot dogs and pop will be provided. Please bring a side dish (salad or dessert), a lawn chair, and a beverage.

In 2016, the BBQ will be held on August 7 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Details of the location of the BBQ will be emailed out to members in advance of the BBQ.
If you are a registered apprentice, newly apprenticed or just wanting to learn more from some of the club’s most experienced falconers, then we want to see you at the BBQ!
Telemetry & Trapping Etiquette Seminar 2:00-4:00pm
1. A few of the most experienced falconers in the club will have a “telemetry talk” about choosing, fitting and using the appropriate telemetry for your hawk or falcon.
2. Wild Take and Trapping Etiquette- do’s and don’ts for successfully fulfilling your permit requirements.
These discussions are geared towards those who have some basic experience hunting with a falconry bird and are looking to add to that knowledge. An apprentice’s sponsor is the most important contact, but it’s also worthwhile to network with other falconers and learn from them.
Members’ Meeting 4:30- 5:00 pm
There will be a brief Members’ Meeting to review the details of Project Goshawk, the Field Meet and any other club business.
Vendor Tables 5:00- 8:00 pm
Members with equipment & goods to sell are welcome to set up a display table, just like at the Field Meet.
